"Lover's Question" a poem

Lover's Question

The world can see I'm ripe for love

So where are you?

I forsake my jacket for naked passion

and let winter horrors do their worst

I could melt the shameless birch

The laughing stars gossip and wink

They flow from out my pores

My love is out of doors

The nested squirrel feels tight as this.

All the world knows it's time for Eros' merry strut

I am no secret, I publish all, so tell me

Where are you?
