This cake is so imperfect I want to cry. I am used to making $500 dollar cakes on a team where all I do is the decorating – not the baking, the cutting, the stacking, making the chocolate ganache and the buttercream, setting the cake up, and then decorating. In fact, I am ashamed of it. By the time I got to the decorating I was exhausted and couldn’t put my heart into it. But it is my first fully Daniel-made cake. It is a start! Happy 6th birthday, Natalie! I love you!
